Consultations are booked by appointment or in a walk in basis. Patients who do not have a
booked appointment will be seen by the next available doctor. Patients will be informed if there is any delay or your doctor has been called away. Emergencies will be attended to immediately.

If you require a medical certificate, please ask your Doctor during your appointment. Please note medical certificates are legal documents and Doctors are not permitted to back date them.


Test Results

Due to patient confidentiality, test results will not be given over the phone. Please make an appointment to discuss your results with your Doctor.


Taking medication prescribed by your doctor

It is important for you to be reviewed regularly. Repeat prescriptions will not be issued unless you attend your Doctor for review. 


Referrals

Specialist referrals require an assessment of your condition by your Doctor during consultation and preparation of a referral letter. Referrals will not be issued unless you attend your Doctor and referrals cannot be back dated. 


Recalls

We have recall system that highlights patients needing to make an appointment for either test results, annual health checks, pap smears etc. Our reception staff will either telephone you or send a recall letter to your address.

Car Parking
There is ample parking at the rear of the medical centre and parking in front of the building on Cox Road. Please do not park in the disabled parking bays unless you have a permit

National Privacy Principles: Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this medical centre to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised staff members.

We take concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. Please speak with your doctor or Practice Manager. Alternatively, you may prefer to write to us.

FEES

Our Medical Centre is a Private Billing Clinic . Out of Pocket Fee shall apply for consultation with  doctors.( Call Reception for details)
There is a Fee for IUD insertion ( Mirena/ Copper T) ,Pre Employment Medical,  Drivers license Medical, Aviation Medical. The fee must be paid at the time of consultation.
Please register your bank details with Medicare for Easyclaim ( to claim the medicare rebate on the spot) .

Billing Schedule vary with individual Doctor.  Please confirm with the receptionist before booking an appointment.

Patients are charged a small out of pocket fee for all procedures performed in the Surgery. This is a minimum charge to cover the costs of dressing, sutures etc., used for these procedures and any aftercare will be inclusive of this fee.
